This clip was made by me Julian/Tybalt, Brandon/Romeo, my brother Devonte/Mercutio,my other brother Dominic/Benvoleo, and my sister Amber/Camera man. This is the scene where Tybalt and Mercutio sword fight and Mercutio dies. and Romeo " accidentally" kills Tybalt. This movie relates to the story because its about the story. Do not try this at home we are professionals.

Characters
Romeo is a character that interests me a lot in
this play. By what is said in act one he is an emo dude. Sure he doesnt look emo but you can tell that he has problems. The book makes it obvious that he wants to die because his life sapposably sucks. He is obviously a normal teenage dude if a girl is the source of his problems, but that all changes when he goes to Capulets party. He becomes superman of love or something when he meets Juliet. He talks in metaphores and goes crazy when he sees her.
As for the appearence of Romeo, I think he probably wears those weird clothes that people would wear back then. I guess He's a good looking dude if Juliet is like a magnet to him and they kiss 5 seconds after they meet each other. If I were to meet him then I would try to talk to him but Im not sure if I would understand him. And even if I could understand him than Im sure thatall he would talk about is Juliet.

Anticipating Shakespear
In the story Midnight Summers Dream, I didnt quite
understand the way that the characters spoke cause it was weird... to me. But Ive
understood it a lot more since then. When we got to the end of the book I change my thoughts toward the book which were" This is old, boring, and not understandable." Then I tried a method, which I do a lot in English class. Instead I tried to listen with more of an understanding of how they spoke.
So it seemed like they were speaking like the way I do instead of "Shakespearian." But I understood it even more when we saw the movie. The imigery of the book gave me more of an understanding of what was going on. People sometimes say thet the book was better than the movie whn they get out of a theater. But in this case, I think the movie was better because you can see what is going. I would be satisfied by getting to see a play of his to understand what he is trying to show by making it.
We recently started Romeo and Juliet. Personally, I think
this play by Shakespear is better. I understand this play more than the last one we read. Maybe it is because we can kind somewhat understand it more because it is a simple love story of people that are our age, or cloce. I think that I'll enjoy this book better. NOTW

Act 2
There are a lot of situations in act two that I found interesting.
But the one that is the most interesting to me would have to be act two scene two (the balcony scene). This scene caught my attention because when we were reading it in class I put myself in Romeo's shoes. When you think about it Romeo is really deticated and brave. He loves Juliet as much as any average dude loves a girl.
He loves her so much that he doesnt choose to deal with the
fact that his life may be in jeopardy if he sees her. If I fell in love with a royal person I would be terrified of being attacked by a guard or something. But Romeo is different. He is not a pathetic winp like me. I guess he is blind to everything around him exept for Juliet. He is obviously following wherever his heart leads him to . She may be a Capulet, but he ends up marrying her because he doesnt see her as the enemy, but someone worth climbing over orchard walls for.

Premonitions
Uh, I think that I have had a premonition before. Possibly many if I completely understand what it means. It started when I lived in California. My mom had gotten married to my step dad. I was constantly being informed that I would have to move to Washington because my new stepbrothers live there. Although we never moved, I knew that it would happen. Shurly enough I was right and we left.
The next example would be when I had a dream that my life would be
terrable when I moved to Washington. I dreamed that I would miss my family, and that when I had to go back to school I would hate it and have no friends. Both were exactly what happened. I think that my two examples kind of have premonitions in them.

Love tryange
There are probably a lot of movies that have love tryangles, mistaken identities ect... but I cant think of that many. There is a movie that I can think of that involves a love tryangle.Spiderman 2 has a love tryangle. Peter Parker and his friend Harry both love the same girl, M.J. What Harry doesnt know about Peter. He is Spider Man, and he also loves M.J.
This has to be the most iteresting love tryangle that a movie can have. Two friends that both love the same friend. There is a possibility that this idea could have come from Shakespear but I dont know. This obviously leads to a problem. You guessed it, they end up being enemies. This may be a superpowered love tryangle but it still counts.

My Poem that I Did When We Did Poems
The poem that I did was "The Road Not Taken" by
Robert Frost. This poem in particular had caught my intrist because it could relate to anyone in their life time. It speaks of to roads and how you can't choose both and you don't know what lies ahead on one road. Once you go down a road there is no turning back, so you need to make the best or smartest choice on which road you decide to take. There is a possibility that friends choose a road that you know isn't a good one. It isn't wise to follow a croud into a road you know isn't right. It's nice to know that you have taken a road and not have any regrets to look back apon. There will be many times in life when you will have to choose a road in life and it's possible that you might choose the road not taken.
